Ed Linck is an awesome coach, role model, and mentor. He has a genuine interest and care for his students and their goals. He also builds great relationships of trust and integrity with his students and they excel. Ever sense my son has had the opportunity to be coached by Ed, his confidence, technique, knowledge, and the love for the game of baseball has increase tremendously. My son’s pitching, hitting, throwing, fielding is Fantastic. And he was a sold competitor at the try outs for All Stars and was one of the players chosen for the team. He hit two balls to the fence at center, one ball hit the top of the fence and the other ball went right over the fence. My son looks and acts like a confident and strong baseball player. I am grateful to have this opportunity for my son to be coached by Ed Linck and cannot recommend him enough to anyone who wants to reach higher levels of the game and accomplish their goals. Thank you coach Ed for all your support and dedication to your students.

I’ve had the great pleasure of having Ed Link as my assistant coach for the past two seasons in Irvine Pony and I would highly recommend his services to any parent who wants to elevate their son’s performance.

There are lots of private baseball coaches out there…probably too many truth be told. But Ed is a coach that actually gets results you can see on the field. He’s a great communicator who really simplifies the art of hitting and pitching into concepts that kids get very quickly. Whether it’s with my team players or in private lessons, I’ve watched boys improve both their hitting and pitching performance very quickly.

Our teams have come in first place two years in a row and this year alone we’ve not only scored the most runs in the league, but we’ve also given up the fewest. Bottom line, Ed is an extremely approachable and down to earth coach who makes learning baseball a fun experience for players of all ages.

  3. The importance of fundamentals is undeniable. Habits, good or bad, created at a young age remain with an athlete. Coach Ed taught me at a very young age positive habits that have translated into the ballplayer that I am today. I have not had a coach in my twelve years of playing baseball at a very competitive level understand and stress the importance of fundamentals the way Coach Ed did to me when he was my coach. There’s no doubt in my mind that Coach Ed can help improve your son’s ability in all aspects of the game. I am thankful for Coach Ed and all that he’s done for me.

I played baseball with Ed at Northwestern State in Louisiana. He was a very gifted player. But beyond the natural talent, he understands baseball. Many times a naturally gifted athlete doesn’t learn the game because they don’t have to. Well Ed did learn the game and that’s why he is and will continue to be a successful instructor and coach.

I live in Ladera Ranch which has a one of the largest Little Leagues in the country. With that comes ultra competitive coaches and kids. I don’t buy into the travel ball and club team philosophy when my kids are 10 & 9, but I do want them to have the appropriate coaching that provides them the right mechanics to excel at any level. I have been a manager, took coaching clinics, and had private lessons for my kids and I have never been so impressed with the techniques that Ed taught my boys. Ed’s ability to connect with the kids was great and they absolutely loved! I recommend Ed and will be going back soon.

I highly recommend Ed Linck as a baseball coach. My boys have been instructed by Coach Ed for a little over a year. The difference his coaching made was quickly evident. Both boys started out the season near the bottom of the batting order. By mid season they were batting near or at the top. The improvement has continued in subsequent seasons. My boys have also gained siginificant improvement in their catching, fielding and overall knowledge of the game.

Ed has many strengths that are evident in his coaching. He demonstrates skill, knowledge and love for the game of baseball. Ed communicates very well and is able to give easily comprehended and memorable word-pictures to describe baseball concepts. Ed is very good with kids and truly cares about their development. He is patient, while remaining firm, and earns the respect and attention of his students.

I am very grateful to have Ed coaching my sons. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their baseball skills.
